ERIC R. FOLEY

Eric is an associate who focuses his practice in criminal law and all aspects of family law and any matter involving the New Jersey child welfare system. Eric also provides representation in municipal matters, administrative law and general practice. Prior to joining Afonso & Baker, Eric was the law clerk for the Honorable Robert W. Page, J.S.C. After his clerkship, Eric was in private practice handling domestic violence and matrimonial matters.

Prior to joining Afonso & Baker, Eric served as a Deputy Attorney General for the State of New Jersey for over four years where he represented the New Jersey Division of Youth and Family Services and its parent agencies in abuse and neglect matters, termination of parental rights cases, juvenile matters, administrative matters, appeals and civil matters involving the agency. Eric has received several awards for his representation of the agency.Eric graduated with his bachelor's degree from Arcadia University in 1999 and earned a second bachelor's degree in 2000. Eric received his J.D. from Rutgers University in 2003 and is admitted to practice in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
