Afonso & Baker, P.C. provides representation to parents, caretakers and families involved in any matter with the New Jersey Division of Youth and Family Services (DYFS).  We understand that these matters are emotional and often very complicated.  We represent parents and caretakers in matters where DYFS removes children from their custody or requires them to involve themselves in DYFS-related services.  We also represent parents and caretakers in hearings to contest DYFS substantiations of abuse and neglect.
